A multifaceted practice in which sculpture, painting and ceramics create a sensitive dialogue between form, matter and image.

Practice
Born in 1970, Alexandre Nicolas graduated from the Toulouse School of Fine Arts. After working with ephemeral sand and ice sculpture, he began exploring synthetic crystal and inclusion.
He suspends emblematic characters and symbols within the material, creating the illusion of weightlessness. The Prédestiné series reflects this exploration of image, volume and matter.
